In the meantime, we encourage you to join Briton Connections on LinkedIn. We will share more details in the coming months about opportunities for professional networking and mentoring. We are also developing a platform that will take the place of Wisr and have all of the needed functionality to promote these meaningful connections that have been made using the existing system. To best facilitate meaningful connections between alumni and students, we are evaluating our existing and needed tools, and have decided to discontinue the Wisr (Briton Network) platform, effective Friday, April 9. This aligns with good industry practices in effective mentoring, and we know the sustained support provided to students through this and other wraparound wellness initiatives will positively impact student retention and career success after graduation. In the coming months, we will have some exciting new opportunities for 1:1 peer student success and alumni/student career mentoring. While not all that have volunteered have completed connections, many students and alumni have benefited greatly from the opportunity to network and obtain career-related knowledge. We would like to extend our gratitude for your willingness to connect with students and alumni.
